Questions & Answers
Booking + Sessions
What is a guidance session? A guidance session is a one-on-one video call with Sabrina Narcisse. It is not a workshop, a training, or a coaching program. It is a focused conversation with an experienced HR professional and systems thinker who will help you work through what is in front of you and leave with clarity and next steps.
Which session should I book? If something just happened and you need to navigate it now, book a Situation Session. If you have a decision to make or a question you keep circling, book a Strategy Session. If you have completed a Sabrina Narcisse Consulting engagement and want to check in on your organization's health, book an SNC Check-In. If you are still not sure, book a Quick Chat, and we will start there.
How do I prepare for my session? After booking, you will receive a confirmation prompt asking you to describe your situation in two or three sentences. That is all the preparation required.
What happens after I book? You will receive a confirmation with the video call link and the prep prompt. Show up at your scheduled time, and we'll get to work.
How long are sessions? Quick Chats are 15 minutes. Situation Sessions are 60 minutes. Strategy Sessions are 90 minutes. SNC Check-Ins are 90 minutes.
Are sessions conducted by video only? Yes. All sessions are conducted via video call, with the exception of the Quick Chat, which is a phone call.
What You Walk Away With
What do I receive after my session? Every session includes a written summary delivered within 24 hours with key points covered and a clear action item list specific to your situation.
Strategy Sessions also include a one-page strategy or decision reference document tailored to what we discussed. Yours to keep and use beyond the session.
What is the two-week follow-up access? After every session, you have two weeks of follow-up email access on the same subject discussed in your session. You can reply to your summary, ask clarifying questions, or share updates on how things are unfolding. Sabrina responds as needed. This is not unlimited consulting; rather, it is continuity on the subject of your session. New subjects require a new booking. Access closes 30 days from your session date.
Cancellation + Refunds
What is your cancellation policy? Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session and no-shows are not eligible for a refund. If you book a new session within 60 days you will receive a credit equal to half the fee of the missed session applied toward your next booking. This credit applies to any session type. For quick chats (no video) the cancellation policy is reduced to 21 minutes before the bookings start time.
What if Sabrina needs to cancel? In the rare event a session needs to be cancelled on our end, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
About Sabrina
What are Sabrina's credentials? Sabrina Narcisse is a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and a certified Trauma-Informed Workplace Leader (TWIL) through Wounded Workforce. She is a current board officer of Workforce Readiness with Gulf Coast SHRM and a former board member of Tiny Blessings Foundation and New Orleans Workers for Racial Justice. She has been providing executive and organizational support since 2009.
What makes Sabrina different from other HR consultants? Most HR consultants have seen organizations from one vantage point. Sabrina has held roles as a staff member, an executive leader, and a board member across nonprofits and small businesses. She also has lived experience as a small business founder. That means she understands your people challenges from every angle, not just from the top down. She brings cross-sector experience and a holistic, people-centered approach to every session.
Is this therapy or coaching? No. Guidance sessions are not therapy and are not a coaching program. Sabrina is an HR professional and systems thinker, not a licensed therapist or life coach. Sessions are focused on organizational and people challenges, such as HR situations, leadership decisions, team dynamics, and operational questions. If you are navigating a personal mental health concern, please reach out to a licensed mental health professional.
Is what I share confidential? Yes. What you share in a session stays in the session. Sabrina does not share client information with third parties. Sessions are not recorded without your explicit consent.
Who This Is For
Do I have to be an organization to book? No. Any leader, founder, executive director, or professional navigating a people or organizational challenge is welcome to book. You do not need to represent an organization.
Can I book a session for a staff member or colleague? Yes. You can book and pay for a session on behalf of someone else. The person attending the session should be the one who completes the prep prompt so Sabrina can prepare accordingly.
Do you work with people outside Louisiana and Mississippi? Yes. Sessions are conducted by video call and are available to anyone regardless of location.
What if my situation is ongoing? A single session is designed to give you clarity and a path forward on what is in front of you right now. If your situation evolves or a new question comes up, you can book another session at any time. The two-week follow-up email access is there to support continuity on the original subject without requiring an additional booking.
What if I need more than a session, if my organization needs infrastructure built? That is the work of Sabrina Narcisse Consulting. If what your organization needs is a full build across administrative systems, people infrastructure, and decision clarity, visit sncsos.com to learn about SNC engagements.
Payment
How do I pay? Payment is collected at booking by card. No invoices, no follow-up billing.
Do you charge sales tax? No sales tax is added to session fees.
